FastBillSplit is an iOS app, in development, that splits a group’s bill by scanning the receipt, with no sign-up, names, or email addresses. The goal is to remove the social and manual friction from splitting a bill item by item.
The idea is to read receipt items with OCR (optical character recognition) and let nearby people join the split by proximity, without trading contact details.
