You remember exactly what you said in a TikTok. The trouble is remembering which one. I built FindMyTok to search my own videos by spoken words, without relying on the caption.
Captions help when you remember the subject. But the line stuck in your head may never have made it into the caption. Maybe you remember “we only had one shot” and nothing else. Scrolling through your profile sounds easy enough. By video fifty, it stops sounding easy.
FindMyTok reads the posts on the account you signed into and builds a search index on your iPhone or iPad. Type the words you remember. Each result shows the excerpt, the video, the date, and the second you said it. You can also search text shown on screen or choose a date range.
The app transcribes speech and reads text on screen on your device. The words and the search index stay there too, with no cloud copy. It uses the internet to fetch posts from TikTok. You sign in on TikTok’s own page, so FindMyTok never asks for your password.
Two limits are worth saying up front. Search matches words, not similar ideas. A result gives you a timestamp, but TikTok decides where playback starts when you open the post. If you have hundreds of videos, the first indexing run can take a while. Pick a smaller date range if you only need part of your archive.
The app only searches videos published on the account you signed into. You can index and search your first ten videos for free. A subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase unlocks the rest. FindMyTok is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
If you find a video you would rather take off your profile, FixMyTok handles that part. It can make posts private, delete them, or remove reposts in batches.
