It really feels like tech collectively decided to give me content this week. Between Apple teasing new iPhones, Google launching more Pixels than anyone asked for, and social platforms casually experimenting with AI features, there’s been no shortage of material. But the real highlight? A beautifully chaotic round of tech gossip starring OpenAI and Mark Zuckerberg. That’s the kind of story that makes you pause and think: are we watching strategy or just really well funded drama?
Apparently, engineers hired by Meta straight from OpenAI have been causing enough friction to get contracts revoked, people reassigned, and at least one very awkward onboarding process. Somewhere between talent wars and corporate ego, it all starts to feel less like innovation and more like a group chat that got out of hand. Except with billions of dollars involved.
